The Vision One Ten made its impressive debut in 2000 at the B.A.S.S. Bassmaster Classic, the world's premier bass tournament. It is a special made lure that broke out in the field in the U.S. and landed in Japan from Megabass USA.

The slender and tall body of the Vision One Ten produces an amazing underwater sliding action from side to side when power-jerked, attracting and turning on monsters with a strong power that overwhelms even the most common Japanese-sized minnows. The high-lift setting also makes it a powerful shallow bait with a slender form that can be used on a straight retrieve to dodge against cover with the lightest of movements, just like a griffon. The Japan-spec model has front and rear KATSUAGE hooks with an outburst out point for catching fish. The USA version uses KATSUAGE hooks on all hooks.

High specific gravity tungsten small-diameter balancer weight.

A high specific gravity tungsten small-diameter balancer weight is used to ensure an extra-long weight lane despite the slim body form. The two high-specific gravity small-diameter balancers that move to the tail end of the body when casting achieve a new dimension of “flight” that far exceeds the flying distance of conventional bass minnows. In addition, the lure produces a variety of trick actions by jerking and twitching. The fixed weight with a low center of gravity set in the front part of the body provides a stable and sharp tight rolling action on a straight release.

Fluctuating meandering trajectory on the fast retrieve.

The ONETEN swims in a wobbly, left-right trajectory on fast retrieves or simple stop-and-go. This creates a change in the linear swimming action and enables the angler to pick up active fish efficiently.

Dynamic trick action by rod work.

In response to requests from U.S. tournament professionals, ONETEN has been set up to produce a wider, more dynamic dart action than ever before. Tight rolling action with a sharp edge when rolled without any action. The power jerk and high-speed twitch produces a dynamic and irregular escape action with a sharp darting action that jumps sideways.

It swims well even on a slow retrieve.

VISION ONETEN is a slow-floating setting. Even on a super-dead slow retrieve, which would spoil the action of a conventional suspended minnow, the tight movement of the lure creates bite opportunities. This is one of the most effective methods in shallow water in early spring and late fall.
